Kid?s Bedroom Decor Idea – Fairy and Magic

Many parents want to decorate their kid’s bedroom in a special way.  One great idea for a little girl’s bedroom is a fairy and magic decor idea.  The ideas below will help you turn your kid’s bedroom into a magical fairy wonderland.

Fairy and Magic Paint Decor Ideas

Start with an empty kid’s bedroom.  The first step is to paint the walls and ceiling and perhaps get a new rug for the floor.  The rug can be in any color that your kid likes.  The walls, however, will get a special fairy magic treatment.

One bedroom decor painting idea is to paint all the walls in the room white or some other pale color.  Then, take a slightly darker color of paint and mix in a cup of silver glitter.  Mix well and use this paint to make large swirls or stenciled stars all over the walls.  When dry, the walls will sparkle.

Another great painting idea is to use a few shades of green to paint grass and flower stems up about three quarters of the wall.  Paint large, colorful flowers above the stems.  These massive flowers will give your kid the impression that she is fairy sized.

Fairy And Magic Fabric Decor Ideas

Since fairies are delicate little creatures with gossamer wings, light, breezy fabrics are great for a fairy magic bedroom.  At a craft and fabric store, purchase sheer material with sparkly star or flower motifs on them.  Drape these over the windows for sheer curtains, and around the posts of the bed.  You can even make a curtain to hang over the bed.  Any bright fabric with stars, flowers, and swirls will look great in this kid’s bedroom.

Fairy and Magic Accessory Decor Ideas

To truly turn your kid’s bedroom into a magical fairy world, you will need to purchase or make some fairy accessories.  Hang pictures of fairies on the wall, paint flowers and stars on the furniture, or buy magical or fairy print bed linens.  The lamp for your kid’s bedroom should have a flower-shaped shade or one with star or flower cutouts.  Depending on whether you are creating a flower fairy or a sparkly magic fairy decor style determines what type of accessories you should include.

Decorating your kid’s bedroom in a fairy and magic motif is a great idea for any little girl that loves fantasy.  Using the painting, fabric, and accessory techniques described above, your kid will feel as if she were transported into a magical fairy world every time she goes to her room.

Kid?s Bedroom Decor Idea – Dinosaur Adventure

Decorating your kid’s bedroom is great fun for parents and children.  One popular decor idea for sons or daughters is a dinosaur adventure motif.  Many young boys love dinosaurs and other prehistoric beasts.  Use the following tips and ideas to turn your kid’s bedroom into an adventurous dinosaur jungle.

Dinosaur Adventure Kid’s Bedroom Painting Ideas

All dinosaurs did not live in the jungle.  However, the prehistoric world was populated by some large trees and ferns.  The first step in turning your kid’s bedroom into a dinosaur adventure is painting the walls to represent this jungle-like habitat.

Paint the walls green and add different colors of green for giant leaves, fern fronds, and palm type trees.  If you are really adventurous, paint in some logs and rocks as well.  Painting the ceiling blue will make your kid feel as if their bedroom is really outside in a dinosaur habitat.

If your kid prefers, you can paint the room to look like a desert dinosaur habitat.  The main colors would be tan, brown, and yellow.  You can paint large rocks or an oasis on one wall.

Dinosaur Adventure Kid’s Bedroom Furniture Ideas

Furniture was never found in dinosaur times, but your kid needs some in his bedroom.  You can paint small dinosaurs, dinosaur footprints, or scale pattern on your kid’s bedroom furniture.  Or, you can transform the furniture into giant dinosaurs by cutting out pieces of plywood in the shape of the dinosaurs and attaching it to the sides of the furniture.  For example, your kid’s bed could become a sleeping stegosaurus with a plywood shape on each side.

Making the dinosaur adventure themed kid’s bedroom is easy with the right accessories.  You should be able to find dinosaur printed bed linens such as sheets and blankets.  You can buy or sew dinosaur shaped pillows for the bed or chairs.  Any type of jungle style accessories would work well.  Buy a lamp with a shade that looks like palm fronds.  Get a carpet remnant and cut out the shape of a giant dinosaur footprint for a throw rug.  Use wooden dinosaur teeth as pegs where your kid can hang their coat and hat.

Decorating your kid’s bedroom in a dinosaur adventure style is a great idea for kids that love prehistoric animals.  By using a jungle motif and lots of dinosaur pictures and toys, your son or daughter will love their adventure bedroom.

A car accessory is something you add to your car to make it look better and to add some style. Many people want a cool car accessory to accent their car. A car accessory can make your car look great. A car accessory can help you to personalize your car. Whatever your reason may be for purchasing a car accessory, you will surely enjoy doing it.
 
 A car accessory can often be pricy. But before we get into that kind of a car accessory, let’s start with the cheaper ones. A cheap car accessory that many people enjoy is stickers. This car accessory can be a funny statement, a social cause, or an achievement. Another inexpensive car accessory is bobble heads. They are often of famous people or silly animals. These are always funny to look at.
 
 A car accessory is sometimes a necessary thing. An example of this kind of a car accessory is floor mats. Floor mats can either be plain colored or have a catchy design. Another often needed car accessory is air fresheners. As you know, cars can get smelly. Many people find this car accessory to be a blessing.
 
 Now we will move on to the more expensive kind of car accessory. This type of car accessory is often electronic in nature. An electronic car accessory can be a blacklight, neon headlights, CD player, or even a DVD player to keep the kids quiet while you are trying top drive. A similar car accessory would be to add a playstation or an Xbox to your car with a television unit to play on. This car accessory is not recommended because it can be ever so distracting to the driver.
 
 Another expensive, yet sometimes necessary car accessory is an in dash GPS (global positioning system). A GPS helps many drivers get to and from various locations. It is kind of like an onboard automated map. A GPS can cost you between 0 and 00 so you must decide on if you really need it. Another example of an expensive car accessory is a radar detector. This helps drivers know when a police officer may be nearby looking for speeding cars. A radar detector alerts you so you can slow down and avoid a speeding ticket. A radar detector is not really needed unless you are the type of person who likes to speed.
